Get To Know Me!

Hi babes, and welcome to my blog! I don't think I can begin to express how excited I am for this journey. This blog will hopefully be your go to place to know about everything I've been loving when it comes to anything and everything. From products, to food, to health/wellness, to even everyday mommy things...you name it,  but before we get started, how about we get to know me for a bit? 

My name is Jessica Morales and I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in Rochester, NY. For the majority of my life I was brought up in a strict Pentecostal home. You know, long hair, skirts all the time. LITERALLY ALL THE TIME. If you've been to Upstate New York, then you must feel my pain because the snow up there, is something serious.👊 When I turned 19, my family went through the tragic event of the passing of my father. Everything changed from there. Church was no more and I really started to experience life after that. My mom remarried, moved to New Jersey, and because everything I knew was "Rochester" I decided to stay. It was a hard two years but I managed. I got my own place, met my current boyfriend, and in June of 2016, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Kayden. He is now 1 and a half years old and is currently entering his terrible two's phase. (Please Pray for Me, 😂)

My boyfriend and I decided to make the big decision to pick up our family and move to another state and on February 21st of this year (2018) we moved all the way across the country to California. We've been here for three weeks and let me tell you, it has been an experience. Lots of things to get used to, like for one, the time change. oh the beautiful time change. For those of you who do not know, The West Coast is 3 hours behind from the East Coast, so for example, 9:00 am here is 12:00 pm over there. It seems like the days are much longer and there is so much sunlight. The only negative is that it's a bit difficult to communicate to friends and family on the East Coast. but so far we've been making it work.

Because it has been difficult to find an affordable and safe day-care for my son, for the time-being I'll be a stay-at-home-mom, just until we get the ball rolling. We're fairly new here so I have to be careful with where I put Kayden and make sure that everything we do is to his benefit .👍
